Go stay in town. You will definitely have a better stay in Angra.
Their "finest suite" (as the manager stated more than once) had not been properly cleaned in a long while.
There was considerable odor from the mold on the walls in the Master bedroom - black, red, and while mold.
There was a 5cm dead cockroach, hundreds of dead gnats, and paint chips on the floor and baseboards.
There is no beach at this location.
There is no gym at this location.
The employees use the very small parking facility, and park closest to the door.
I had to sweep the bird droppings off the patio myself.
The dining employees are nice, but one time we were told we had to pay cash, couldn't charge to the room, and of course the "credit card machine is broken."
Our TAP Flight was rescheduled to the following day due to a plane running off the runway in Lisbon.
We could not use our pre-paid first night at the hotel, and The Hotel would not issue a refund on the first night .
We lost $263 because the hotel said that they could not refund our card because TRIP.com used a virtual credit card to pay for the room.
I do not recommend this hotel or booking through TRIP.com, and we will never use either of them again.

Personale super attento e disponibile!! La nostra camera era un po’ infelice perché da una doppia normale hanno aggiunto un terzo letto per nostra figlia, tutto normale ma anche il matrimoniale era composto da 2 letti singoli, è stato eliminato un comodino con relativa lampada e l’altro messo di traverso per farci stare tutto risultando molto stretto e scomodo l’aspirazione del bagno inoltre non funzionava. Insomma non benissimo per un albergo che sembra una nave da crociera e si fregia delle 4 stelle. Per il resto ottimi servizi con piscina esterna e prendi sole, bar con veranda, piscina indoor e garage con accesso interno. Colazione ottima

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer war schmutzig, roch unangenehm und hatte Flecken auf Bettwäsche und Teppich. Das Bad war in einem schlechten Zustand und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht richtig. Auch das Frühstück war nicht geniessbar - schlechter Kaffe und Orangensaft. Das einzige Positive war das freundliche Personal an der Rezeption und der nette Barkeeper.

Fui muitíssimo bem recebido, o quarto é ótimo (a cama principalmente), o café da manhã é excelente e os colaboradores educados prestativos e prestam um serviço de excelência. Acredito que a cordialidade seja marca registrada da Ilha Terceira e isso faz toda a diferença.

Lovely hotel - it is about 30 minutes walk into the centre of town. Make sure you ask for a sea view room. We also upgraded to a Suite Seaview Double - this is on the top floor and is split level, so there is a lounge area downstairs with a balcony and a bedroom upstairs - bathroom on each floor and TV on each floor - we had Room 421 which was very good - Room 427 would be on the end nearest the sea, so may be better. Great view of the sea, outdoor pool and public beach/area where the locals go to swim and jump and dive into the sea. The public areas of the hotel are lovely but the rooms and bathrooms are a little tired.

Ante todo debo indicar que mis expectativas de este hotal eran muy modestas, por los comentarios que habia leido y por ello , el título de esta opinion La habitación con vistas a jardín (!) era una duplex con las camas en la parte de arriba. Las almohadas horribles , de lo peor que he visto Aire condicionado muy bien . Silencio absoluto , para mí algo que valoro enormemente Desayuno simplemente correcto pero bien organizado Personal de recepción muy amable. Personal de la cafeteria algo menos. Con parking aunque pequeño y con una entrada terrorífica. Limpieza, justita Sería aconsejable una revisión del apartado Mantenimiento No obstante, si volviera a Angra no tendria ningún inconveniente en alojarme de nuevo en él
